This 3-day safari trip will take you to the Lumo Community wildlife Sanctuary and Tsavo East National Park to enjoy observing the wildlife of the region. Tsavo East “Theatre of the wild” – The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. LUMO Community Wildlife Sanctuary is adjacent to Tsavo West National Park and the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. It hosts Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, Maasai lion, Maasai giraffe, zebra, hartebeest, impala, waterbuck, Thomson’s gazelle, lesser kudu, dik-dik, and other smaller animals, including a great diversity of birdlife.

Day 1: Beach Hotel-Tsavo East

On the first day, you leave Kenya’s Coast at 6:30am and drive to Lumo Wildlife Sanctuary. Lumo Wildlife Sanctuary is located 210 kilometers north-west of Mombasa City. You will arrive at Lumo Wildlife Sanctuary at around 10.00 am morning hours. Upon arrival, you will be introduced to the Sanctuary’s rules and regulations at the entrance. Thereafter you will start with game viewing drives while heading to the Lions Bluff Lodge which is located within Lumo Community Wildlife Conservancy;  a part of Tsavo ecosystem. At around 1:30pm you check-in Lions Bluff Lodge for Lunch. After lunch and resting you leave for more afternoon game viewing drives till 6:30pm. Thereafter you will drive back to Lions Bluff Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:Tsavo East-Taita Hill Sanctuary

The second day will be started with an early morning game viewing drives before taking your breakfast. Then after breakfast you dive to Tsavo East Park plains for more game viewing drives till midday, from this point you drive and check-in to your reserved lodge/camp for lunch. After having your lunch and relaxing, you shall leave for more afternoon game drives till late in the afternoon. Thereafter you shall drive back to your reserve lodge/camp where you will have dinner and spend your overnight.

Day 3:Taita Hills-Beach Hotel

On the third day, you will start the day with a cup of coffee/breakfast before leaving for the morning game viewing drives at 6:30 am exploring Tsavo East National Park’s wildlife till 8:30 am time for the full breakfast. After breakfast, you check-out of the lodge and have the last game drive as you exit the park at around 11:30 where you will drive to a hotel outside Tsavo East National Park for lunch. Thereafter drive to Kenya’s coast arriving there at around 4:30 pm in the late afternoon. We shall drop you back to your beach hotel.
